By signing up for Publishora you agree to these terms. The service is provided as-is; we keep it running honestly but make no impossible guarantees. You own your content. You are responsible for what you post and for following the rules of the social platforms you connect. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service. UK law governs.
Publishora is a content marketing platform that lets you plan, draft, schedule, and publish content to social platforms, plus track its performance. The service is operated by Havnwright Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service form a legally binding agreement between you and Havnwright Ltd when you create an account or otherwise use Publishora.
You are responsible for the credentials you use to access Publishora and for any activity carried out under your account. Choose a strong password, do not share it, and notify us promptly at contact@publishora.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to keep credentials secure.
You retain all rights in the content you upload, draft, or schedule through Publishora. By using the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and transmit your content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you (for example, displaying it in your dashboard, drafting variants with AI when you request it, and submitting it to the social platforms you have connected). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You represent and warrant that:
When you connect a social platform account (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, and others), you authorise us to act on your behalf within the scopes shown to you at the platform's consent screen. We will only publish content you have explicitly scheduled or approved.
You remain responsible for following each platform's own terms of service and community guidelines. If a platform suspends, bans, or restricts your account because of content you published through Publishora, we are not liable. You can disconnect a platform at any time from Publishora settings or from the platform's own app permissions screen; either disconnects our ability to post on your behalf.
You must not use Publishora to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where required.
Publishora uses Anthropic's Claude API to help you draft content. AI-generated drafts may contain errors, fabricated facts, or stylistic choices that do not represent your voice. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-drafted piece before publishing. We do not warrant that AI outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.
We aim to keep Publishora available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or feature changes that temporarily affect availability. We may add, modify, or remove features over time. When we make a material change that reduces functionality you depended on, we will provide reasonable notice where possible.
Where Publishora is offered as a paid service, applicable prices, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented at the point of purchase and form part of these Terms. We may change prices for future billing cycles with at least 30 days' notice. If you do not agree to a price change you may cancel before the next cycle begins.
You may close your account at any time from the account settings. Closing your account triggers deletion of your data on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk to us or other users, or if we are required to do so by law. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to cure the breach before terminating.
Publishora is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or trade usage. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
Nothing in this section limits our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Havnwright Ltd be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of Publishora, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Havnwright Ltd and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer based outside the UK in which case mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence still apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of Publishora after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
